Let me take a moment to welcome you all to the Financial World Innovation Awards website for 2012. In our 15 year history we have followed the ups and downs of the industry, but have been constantly impressed by the continued ability to innovate, move on and offer creative solutions to these challenges. For over a decade, the Financial World Innovation Awards have celebrated the high standards evident in many organisations. Financial Services never stand still, there is constant evolution, and sometimes bold changes that lead to revolution in the way the industry works. Over the years, the awards have showcased many of the most innovative initiatives in their field. 2012 will be no different. We eagerly anticipate a new cohort of entries of outstanding merit to be evaluated against their peers, both UK and global, from leading international organisations to much smaller regional ones. We have listened to and evaluated your feedback, and have refreshed and updated this year’s categories to reflect this. In addition, we have created a new category to offer a platform to those new and exciting developments in corporate banking. The criteria for some categories have been altered so we would invite you to read through carefully in order to find the one that is just right for your project.
